Banjara Gosht - Kashmeri recipe

I searched through several sites and i can not find out which is the native of Banjara Gosht.Some where it is written as a Kashmeri recipe and some where else it is written as a Rajastani dish.Any way i can only say that its taste is outstanding.It is basically a mutton recipe with lots of spices and curd.Its taste is something really different and i am sure that you will love it.

Ingredients needed to make Banjara Gosht

1.Mutton - 500 gm
2.Oil - 150 gm
3.Onion sliced - 200 gm
4.Cardamom - 2 no
5.Cloves - 3 no
6.Cinnamon - 2 sticks
7.Fennel seeds - 1/2 tsp
8.Aniseed - 1
9.Mace - 1
10.Ginger and garlic paste -5 tsp
11.Red chilli powder - 5 tsp
12.Coriander powder - 4 tsp
13.Salt
14.Curd - 150 gm
15.Coriander seeds - 1 tsp
16.Red chilli whole - 6

How to make Banjara Gosht

1.Clean the mutton pieces and then cut it in to small pieces.

2.Heat the oil in a pan and then saute the onions really well,to this then add the cardamom,cinnamon,cloves,fennel seeds,aniseed,mace,chilli powder,coriander powder,turmeric powder,and salt.

3.Mix it really well and to this then add the mutton pieces and curd.

4.Add the whole coriander seeds and whole red chillies to it and mix it well.Cook it till the mutton pieces are cooked well.

this will result in great taste.........
