Kaipola Malabar sweet dish/ethappazham sweet snack
This recipe belongs to my sister in law salma,during the last Ramzan she was with me and we enjoyed the time together in kitchen.As my mother in law was out of station all cooking in charge were belongs to us.Ramzan the holy month created a lot of special duties to me.Including making different dishes for the IFTHAR .Lets go through the recipie.Its ingredients are few ,easy to prepare and children will like it.
Ingredients needed to make KAIPOLA
1. Banana -3 no
2.Egg - 3 no
3.Cashew nuts - 2 tsp
4.Raisins- 2 tsp
5.Ghee as needed to saute
6.Sugar -1/4 cup
7.Cardamom powder- 1/2 tsp
How to prepare Kaipola
1.In a non stick pan heat some ghee and saute the cashew nuts and raisins until it become golden in color.
2.Keep it aside and in the same ghee saute the banana pieces.After it become cool blemd it in a mixer grinder with egg and sugar.
3.Now add the cardamom powder and fried dry fruits to it .
4.In the nonstick pan pour the mixer and cover it with a stong lid and cook it about half hour in slow flame.
5.When it becomes cooked one side turn it to other side and in the same manner cook it again.
6.You can check whether ot is cooked well or not by picking in the middle with a tooth pick.
7.Now the delicious kaipola is ready to be served.....
