Pathiri malabar style


1. Rice flour roasted - 1 cup
2.Water - 1 cup


1.Boil the water and add salt to it and then slowly add the rice flour to it stirr continously.

2.Switch off the stove and make it into a dough while it is hot.So that it will become soft and puff.Dont add too much water to it if needed wet the hands only.You can apply little oil in to your palms .If the water content is more the dough will become sticky.So careful while making.

3.Make it in to balls,as for chappathi and then dust the board with rice flour and then roll it to become thin.You can also use the press for it.

4.Place the tawa /pan in medium flame and when it become hot place the pathiri on it and in a few seconds turn the pathiri and cook the otherside also.You can see that the pathiri will puff its ready you can serve with coconut milk and chicken curry.
