It is a very tasty snack and everyone is going to love itYou can have it as a break fast or evening snack.
Ingredients
1.Rice Flour lightly roasted - 1 cup
2.Jaggery - 150 gm
3.Coconut grated - 1cup
4.Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
5.Banana leaf /parchment paper
6.Salt - 1/4 tsp
7.Water - 11/2 cup
Preparation
1.Boil water in a pan with salt ,to the boiling water add the rice flour slowly and stir it. Put off the flame and mix the flour well. Close it with a lid and set aside for a while . When the dough cools ,but slightly warm,knead the dough well and then make balls out of the dough. The dough should be loser than that of chappatti.
2.To the melted jaggery add the coconut and mix well and at last add the cardamom powder to it and cook till the filling become thick then put off the fire .
3.Then take the banana leaf in a rectangular shape and apply little oil on it then take one dough ball and spread the dough evenly on the leaf. On the top of it place one spoonfull of filling and spread it evenly .
4.Then fold it in the middle and close the sides.And in a steamer stem it for 20 mts. Peel off the leaf and you can have it .
