Papdi or papri is a deep fried crispy dough wafers made from white flour. In papri chaat the papris are served with boiled potatoes,boiled chickpeas,chillis ,yogurt and tamarind sauce garnished with sev and chaat masala.
Ingredients For Papdi or Papri Chaat
1.Maida/All Purpose Flour - 3 Cup
2.Ajwain Seeds - 1 tsp
3.Red Chilly powder - 1 tsp
4.Salt
5.Oil - 1 tsp

2.Boiled Potatoes
3.Chopped Onions
4.Chat Masala

How to make Papdi Chaat
1.In a bowl mix maida,ajwain seeds,red chilli powder,salt and by adding water make it to a firm dough.
2.Keep the dough for 30 minutes and then make small balls out of it and roll it the shape of puri.Now using a fork prick the puris all over.
3.Heat the oil and deep fry the puris .
4.Now top it with boiled potatoes,chopped onions and tomatoes.Then pour chilled yogurt to it ,sprinkle chilli powder ,chat masala ,green chillies,green chutney and kajur imly chutney..................
