Ingredients needed to make the Panjabi ChickenMasala
1.Chicken pieces - 1 kg
2.Onion Sliced - 3 no
3.Ginger and Garlic Paste - 2 tsp
4.Green chillies chopped - 1 tsp
5.Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
6.Cloves - 5 no
7.Turmeric powder - 3/4 tsp
8.Garam Masala powder - 2 tsp
9.Black Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
10.Tomatoes - 2 no
11.Salt
12.Oil - 4 tsp
13.Chopped coriander and mint leaves
14.Red chilli powder -1 tsp
How to Make Panjabi Chicken Masala
1.Heat the oil in a pan and add the cumin seeds and cloves to it then saute the sliced onions in it.
2.After two minutes add the ginger garlic paste and chopped green chillies to it .
3.Add the tomatoes to it and saute it again.
4.Now add the cleaned chicken pieces to it and mix it well.When the chicken pieces become half cooked add the salt ,garam masala powder ,turmeric powder and red chilli powder to it.
5.Again cook the chicken pieces well.And when it becomes thick gravy add the powderd pepper powder to it and mix it well.
6.If you want it more spicy you can increase the quantity of pepper powder .
Serve it hot with nan or chappathi.Do not forget to garnish it with chopped coriander and mint leaves.....
