Peechinga -Thakkali curry/Ridge Gourd Tomato Curry

All malayales are familiar with peechinga/Ridge Gourd,but often we make thoran of it.When i got the new eddition of Vanitha Magazine i found this recipe in it.And i tried it  ,it tastes good.One Mrs Beena Mathew owns this recipe.

Ingredients needed to Make Peechinga Thakkali Curry

1.Oil - 2 table spoon
2.Onion sliced - 2 no
3.Garlic - 2 no sliced very thin
4.Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
5.Peechinga/Ridge Gourd - 250 gm
6.Tomato sliced - 3 no
7.Green chiliies - 3 no
8.Salt

How to make Peechinga thakkali currry

1.Heat the oil in a pan and then saute the sliced onions and garlic in it.

2.To this add the turmeric powder  and then add the sliced peechinga to it  also add little salt and water to it.

3.Add the sliced tomatoes to it and cook it covered.

4.with in 4 or 5 mts the curry will be ready to be served.
