Gobi Manchurian Dry












Gobi Manchurian is a Chinese dish but prepared with a lot of Indian spices.It can be made either dry or gravy.This recipe goes with dry.In Indian streets fast food shops we can get it easily.

Ingredients

For the preparation of cauliflower

1.Cauliflower -2 cup (separated in to florets)
2.Red chilli powder- 1 tsp
3.All purpose flour /maida - 3tsp
4.Salt
5.Oil for deep fry
For the preparation of the sauce

1.Onion chopped - 1
2.Green chillies - 4 to 5 diced diagonally
3.Soya sauce - 3 tsp or for taste
4.Red chilli sauce - 2 tsp
5.Tomato Sauce - 2 tsp
6.Corn starch - 1 tsp
7.Vinegar - 2 tsp
8.Water - 2 tsp
9.Spring onion chopped diagonally - 1
10. Ginger paste - 1 tsp
11.Garlic paste - 1 tsp
12.Oil - 1 tsp


Preparation

1.First you have to prepare the sauce because when the cauliflower is fried you can immediately add to the sauce.

2.In a pan heat 1 tsp of oil and saute the onion,ginger,garlic paste,green chillies when it is done add the tomato sauce ,red chilli sauce,vinegar,soya sauce to it and mix well.

3.Then add 2 tsp of water to it and add corn flour to it.As we are making dry we have to saute it well.Once it is done keep it aside.

4.In a bowl mix the maida,corn flour,salt,red chilli powder with water to make it in to the form of batter.

5.We have to put the cauliflower florets in hot water with salt for at least 5 mts.

6.Heat the oil in a pan and dip each cauliflower florets in batter and then fry it in oil.

7.Add the fried cauliflower to the sauce that we have already prepared and mix them well.Garnish with spring onion and serve hot with nan or battura...
