Aloo Kachori - Dasara or Dussehra Recipe

Ingredients For Aloo Kachori

1.Potato - 1/2 kg

2.Coconut grated - 1 no

3.Green chillies - 2 to 3

4.Cardamom seeds - 1 tsp

5.Lemon juice - 1 tsp 2 tsp
6.Sugar - 1 to 2 tsp
7.Arrow root (koova in malayalam) powder - 100 gm
9.Refined oil to fry

How to make Aloo Kachori

1.Boil the potatoes , peel the skin and mash it really well.

2.Then add half of the arrow root powder and salt to the mashed potato .Knead it really well this will be the covering for Aloo Kachori.

3.Now we are going to prepare the filling. For this mix the grated coconut,lemon juice,crushed green chilly,cardamom seeds,salt and sugar .

4.Then make a small puri out from the dough and then fill it with coconut mixture.And then make it in to the shape of kachori.

5.Roll the balls in rest of aroo root powder and dep fry it in hot oil till it becomes golden brown in color.
