1.Plantain /Aratikaya /Ethakka - 1 no
2.Onion - 1
2.Ginger - one piece
3.Garlic -2 cloves
4.Red chilly powder - 11/2tsp
5.Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
6.Salt
7.Oil - 4 tsp
8.Curry leaves
Preparation
1.Peel the skin of plantain and cut it in to semi circle pieces keep it in water to prevent decolorise.
2.Heat the oil in an wok and add the plantain pieces to it.Add curry leaves to it and cook it in low flame till the pieces turns light brown in color.Drain it out from the oil and keep it aside.
3.Grind the onions with ginger ,garlic ,turmeric powder and red chilly powder.Add this masala paste to the hot oil and saute it till the oil seperates from it.
4.If added you can add extra oil to it.Add salt to it and then add the fried plantain pieces to it.
5.Mix it really well with the masala and saute it till it is coated with masala.
Serve it with rice or roti.........................
