Ingredients
1.Mutton - 500 gm
2.Onion - 2 no
3.Green chillies grinded -3 no
4.Ginger and garlic paste - 2tsp
5.Red chilli powder- 2 tsp
6.Turmeric powder -1/2 tsp
7.Coriander powder - 2 tsp
8.Salt
9.Curry leaves
10.Oil - 2 or 3 tsp
11.Tomato chopped - 1 no
12.Water - 1 cup
13.Garam masala - 1 tsp
14.fennel seeds - 1/4 tsp
15.Small shallots/Kunjulli - 4 no chopped
Preparation
1. Heat the oil in a pan then add fennel seed to it and then the ginger,garlic paste ,green chillies,curry leaves and saute well .
2.Then add the chopped onions to it and saute it well then add red chilli powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder and saute well.To this add the tomato and the cleaned mutton ,salt and mix well till the mutton is coated with masala.
3.Now add the water to it and cook it in pressure cooker for 20 minutes .When it is done add the garam masala powder to it.
4.In another pan heat the oil and saute the small shallots or kunjulli with curry leaves and add this to the mutton curry.
