We rarely use beetroot in our dishes.But this is something different.
Ingredients
1.Beetroot -1 no
2.Chilli powder - 1 1/2 tsp
3.Mustard seed - 1/2 tsp
4.Asafotida - 1/4 tsp
5.Vinegar - 2 tsp
6.Oil - 2 tsp
7.Salt
8.Curry leaves
Preparation
1.Wash and clean the beetroot.Peel the skin and cut it in to pieces.
2.Heat the oil in a pan and splutter the mustard seeds ,curry leaves then add the chilli powder to it.
3.Then add the beetroot pieces to it add salt,asafotida powder to it and mix it well.Add vinegar to it and then turn off the fire .And keep it in air tight containers.
