Vanilla Sponge Pudding -Baked pudding


Ingredients

1.Maida - 1/2 cup
2.Powdered sugar - 1/2 cup
3. Chilled Milk -1/2 cup
4.Hot Milk - 2 cup
5.Egg - 4
6.Butter - 3 table spoon
7.Vanilla essence - 2 tsp

Preparation

1.In bowl mix the maida flour with powdered sugar.To this add the chilled milk and mix it well.


2.Separate the egg white and yellow .Check Spelling

3.Add hot milk to the maida/sugar /milk mixture and bring it to boil .Stir it continuously with a spoon.Make it in to a thick form by keeping it in a low flame.Like the form of custard.Then turn off the fire .

4.Add the butter to the custard .Then add the beaten egg yolk to it.Then add the vanilla essence to it.Beat the egg it with a beater .And when the custard become cool add the beaten egg white slowly to it like fold in it.

5.Pour this in a pudding tray and bake it in a preheated oven at 180 degree for 5 mts.Then bake it again at 170 degree for 25 to 30 mts.

6.Serve it as hot or cold with cream or caramel syrup.
