Ingredients for Badam Kheer
1.Milk - 1 litre
2.Water - 1/2 cup
3.Sugar - 1/2 cup
4.Almonds/Badam - 25 no
5.Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
6.Saffron Strands - 10 to 15
How to make Badam Kheer
1.Soak the almonds in hot water for 30 mts .And then peel its skin and grind it in to paste by adding half cup of water.
2.Boil the milk in a heavy bottom pan and add almond paste to it.Keep it in simmer and stir it occasionally till it become semi thick .
3.Now add the Sugar and mix it well.When the milk is reduced to 3/4 th of its quantity add cardamom powder and turn off the fire.
4.Soak the Saffron strands in little hot milk and then add this to the kheer.
Serve it chilled ................
