Ingredients1.Avoli fish -500 gm2.Turmeric powder -1/2 tsp3.Grated coconut -1/2 cup4.Red chilli powder - 2 tsp5.Cumin seeds - 1 tsp6.Green chillies - 37.Ginger - 1 piece8.Curry leaves9.Salt10.Curd - 1 cup11.Coconut oil - 1 tsp12.Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp13.Fenugreek seeds - 1/2 tsp14.Red chillies - 3 noPreparation of avoli meen moru curry1.Grind the coconut,cumin seeds,turmeric powder,chilli powder really well.2.In an earthen pot take the grounded mixture,green chillies,ginger slices,curry leaves ,salt and water and bring it to boil.3.To this add the fish pieces and cook the fish in the gravy.Now add the fresh curd to it do not allow it to boil.4.In another pan heat the oil splutter the mustard seeds.red chillies,fenugreek seeds,curry leaves and pour this to the curry.Now the delicious fish curry is ready to be served.

4.Tamarind paste - 1/2 tsp
5.Red chilli - 12 no
6.Cumin seeds(jeera) - 1/2 tsp
7.Coriander seeds - 1 tsp
8.Pepper corns - 1/2 tsp
9.Fenugreek seeds - 1/2 tsp
10.Onion - 2
11.Green chillies - 4
12.Garlic - 5 no
13.Ginger -1 piece
14.Shallots/Kunjulli- 5 no
15.Thin coconut milk - 1 cup
16.Curry leaves
17.Thick coconut milk - 1 cup
18.Salt
How to make ayakkura meen curry
1.To the cleaned fish add salt,turmeric powder and tamarind paste. Marinate it for 10 mts.
2.Heat a wok and add 2 tsp oil to it and then fry the red chillies,pepper corns,coriander seeds,fenugreek seeds.and grind it really well.
3.In the same oil saute the sliced onion,green chillies,ginger,garlic and shallots.
4.To this add the grounded paste and then add the thin coconut milk to it.Also add the fish pieces to it.
5.When the fish pieces cooked well ,add thick coconut milk and curry leaves to it.If needed add salt to it .
The delicious ayakkura meen curry is ready to be served.
