Ingredients
1.Black chana /kadala -1 cup
2. Coconut grated -half of one
3.Coriander powder - 1 tsp
4.Chilli powder - 1 tsp
5.Turmeric powder -1/4 tsp
6. Salt for taste
7.Onion - 1 big
8.Green chillies - 2or 3
9 Garam masala -1 tsp
10.Tomato -1 no
11.oil - 1 tsp
12.Mustard seed - 1/2 tsp
13.Red chillies - 2 no
14. curry leaves
Preparation
1.You have to soak the chana overnight.And then cook it in a pressure cooker,with onion salt ,green chillies,tomato.
2.Then fry the coconut in a pan and when it turn brown in color turn off the fire and then add allthe powders other than the garam masala and mix it well .Then grind it in to a fine paste.
3.Then add the fine paste in to the cooked chana mix well and allow to boil.Then add the garam masala to it.
4.Then in another pan heat the oil splutter the mustard seed with red chillies and curry leaves.
