Palppayasam

Ingredients

1.Milk - 5 to 6 cup
2.Rice (Matta)/white - 2 cup
3.Ghee - 3 tsp
4.Sugar - 1 cup or according to your need
5.Cardomom - 1 tsp crushed
6.Raisins and cashew - 1/4 cup each

Preparation

1.In a pressure cooker boil the milk and add the washed rice ,sugar to the milk and cover it with lid and after the first whistle lower the flame and keep it in simmer for 30 mts.

2.The palppayasam will be in light pink in colour.THen fry the raisins ,cashew in ghee and add this to the payasam.Also add the crushed cardomom place.
