Pista Kulfi

Its a popular frozen milk dessert.It is similar to ice creams but its more denser and creamier.It comes in all flavours.Kulfi is traditionally prepared by evaporating sweetened and flavored milk by slow cooking.


1.Milk - 1 litre
2.Sugar- 1/2 cup
3.Suffron - 2 pinches
4.Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
5.White bread - 1
6.Pistachio, finely chopped - 1/4 cup
7.Milk -1/4 cup
8.Corn flour - 1 tsp


1.Remove the sides of bread and make it in to pieces.Mix it with 1/4 cup of water and corn flour.Blend it together and make it in to fine paste.Keep aside it to add in milk.

2.In medium flame boil the milk with constant stirring,till it reduces to half its volume.

3.When the milk has reduced add the blended mixture to it and mix well.Add sugar,pista and cardamom to it and bring to boil.

4.Allow it to cool,and freeze it in fridge and cut it in to pieces .Or you can fill the mixture in popsicles and freeze it.
