Vegetable Fried rice - Kerala recipe


1.Cooked basmathi rice - 2cup
2.Soya sauce - 2 tsp
3.Chilli sauce - 2 tsp
4.Onions - 2 nos
5.Ginger - 1 piece
6.Garlic pods - 4 nos
7.Carrot - 100 gm
8.Beans - 100 gm
9.Capsicum - 1 no
10.Spring onions chopped
11.Pepper powder - 1 tsp
12.Oil - 2 tsp


1.Heat a wok till the surface is almost smoking,in most of the chinese dish they are cooking it in high flame thats why the taste is different.In home we can't get the flame so we won't get the taste.

2.Then add the oil to it,and add ginger ,garlic ,onions to it and saute well.Also add the vegetables(except the spring onions) to it and stir fry for around 5-7 minutes until softened.

3.Then add the spring onions salt and sauces to it mix well now add the cooked basmathi rice to it and mix well.

4.Stir in the cooked vegetables and sauces and combine the rice and vegetables gently, till the rice is evenly coated with all the sauces.Last add the pepper powder to it....
