Bamboo shoot Raita

Sliced bamboo shoots


1.Curd - 1 cup
2.Onion - 1 no
3.Carrot - 1 no
4.Green chillies - 5 to 7
5.Coriander leaves
6.Bamboo canned - 1 cup
8.Oil needed to fry
9.Red chilli powder - a pinch
10.Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
11.Curry leaves


1.Slice the bamboo shoots in to very thin pieces.Deep fry it in the oil till it becomes golden brown in color.Add pinch of salt and red chillies to it.

2.In a bowl mix the chopped onions ,green chillies,carrot,curd,salt, and coriander leaves.Add the fried bamboo shoots only before serving.

3.Splutter the mustard seeds ,curry leaves in the oil and pour it on the raitha.

It is something really different and interesting try it and enjoy it.
