Coffee Cake With ChocoNut Topping


Ingredients for Coffee Cake

1.Butter - 175 gm

2.Powdered Sugar - 1 1/2 cup

3.Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp

4.Egg - 4

5.Maida/All Purpose flour - 1 cup
6.Baking powder - 3/4 tsp

7.Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
8.Thick yogurt - 1/2 cup

9.Instant coffee powder - 3 tsp
10.Hot water - 2 tsp


For Choco Nut topping

1.Chocolate chips - 1/2 cup

2.Cashew Nut pieces - 1/4 cup

3.Brown Sugar - 3 Table spoon


Preparation of Coffee cake


1.Separate the egg white and egg yolk.


2.In a bowl mix butter,powdered sugar and vanilla essence.


3.Add each egg yolk to it and mix it with a egg beater.

4.In another bowl mix maida,baking powder and baking soda well.Add this powder mix to the above mixture and mix it well.


5.Add the curd to it and beat it using an egg beater.

6.Mix the coffee powder with hot water and add this to the above mix.

7.Beat the egg white separately and also add this to the cake mix.Pour this cake mix to a cake tin .

8.Pre heat the oven at 180 degree for 5 mts ,bake the cake for 30 mts .


9.When the cake is ready you can make the topping with choco chips,cashew nuts and brown sugar.You can also apply cream on top.
