Mushroom Soup (Koonu Soup)


Ingredients For Mushroom Soup

1.Mushroom - 50 gm
2.Butter - 50 gm
3.Cornflour - 1 table sp
4.Milk - 500 ml
5.Shallots /Kunjulli - 1/4 cup
6.Bread slices -3
7.Pepper powder - 2 tsp
8.Salt
9.Coriander leaves

Preparation

1.Remove the sides of bread slices and cut in to small squares and then fry it in the butter till it becomes golden brown in color.Drain it out and keep it aside.

2.In the same butter add the sliced kunjulli and saute it till it becomes golden in color.

3.Then add mushroom slices to it and saute it well.Add milk to it and when it begins to boil add the corn flour to make it in to the soup consistency.

4.Turn off the fire and place it in a serving bowl and add the fried bread slices ,pepper powder, salt and chopped coriander leaves to it.

Serve it as hot...........
