Chicken Korma - Kerala recipe


1.Chicken - 1 kg
2.Coriander powder - 1 tsp
3.Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
4.Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
5.Onion Sliced - 5 no
6.Curry leaves
7.Tomato Chopped - 2 no
8.Green Chilly - 5 no
9.Ginger and garlic paste - 1 tsp
10.Coconut oil - 1 cup

How to Make Chicken Korma

1.Take half of the sliced onion and then fry it in the oil till it become golden in colour.To this add the red chilly powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder and saute it again.

2.When it becomes cool grind it in to fine paste.

3.Saute the onions ,green chillies ,in the same oil and then add ginger and garlic paste to it.

4.Then add the grounded onion paste and powdered masala to it.Add tomatoes,salt and chicken pieces to it and mix it well.

5.Cook it covered till all the chicken pieces become cooked well.

Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves............
