Prawn Pathia

It is the sweet ,hot and sour prawn recipe .I searched through several recipies and some where it is written as a mangolian dish and some where as a parci dish.I mixed up both and got the recipe.

Ingredients For Prawn Pathia

1.Prawns - 250 gm
2.Cinnamon - 1
3.Cardamom- 2
4.Cloves - 2
5. Onions - 2
6.Garlic paste - 1 tsp
7.Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
8.Red chilly powder -1 tsp
9.Coriander powder - 3/4 tsp
10.Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
11.Tomatoes - 2
12.Jaggery - 1 tsp
13.Tamarind pulp - 2 tsp
14.Curry leaves
15.Oil - 3 tsp

How to make Prawn Pathia

1.Wash the prawns really well .

2.Heat the oil in a pan and then add the cloves,cinnamon,and cardamom to it.

3.After 2 mts add the onions and garlic paste to it and saute it really well.

4.Add tomatoes to it and saute it again when the tomatoes is cooked well add red chilli powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder ,salt and garam masala powder to it.

5.Saute it again till the oil starts to seperate out.Add tamarind pulp and jaggery to it also add 1 cup of water to it and bring it to boil .Add curry leaves and prawns to it and cook it till the gravy becomes thicken well.

Serve it as hot...........
