Bengali Fish Fry

Ingredients For Bengali Fish Fry

1.Fish - 8 pieces

For marination

1.Shallots /Small red onion - 1/4 cup
2.Green chillies - 2
3.Ginger and garlic paste - 2 tsp
4.Lemon juice - 1 tsp
5.Salt
6.Coriander powder - 1 tsp
7.Garam masala powder - 1/2tsp

Other ingredients

1.Egg - 2
2.Bread crumbs - 2pieces
3.All purpose flour -3 tsp
4.Salt
5.Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp

How to make Bengali Fish Fry

1. Make fine paste of red onion,green chillies,ginger and garlic paste,lemon juice,coriander powder,garam masala powder and salt.Marinate the fish with this paste and keep it in fridge for at least 1 hour.

2.In another bowl mix the bread crumbs with salt ,pepper powder and all purpose flour.Beat the eggs in another bowl.


3.Dip each fish pieces in beaten egg and then roll it on bread crumbs.Heat the oil in a pan and then deep fry the fish pieces..

Serve it hot ........
