Avoli Meen Moru Curry


1.Avoli fish -500 gm
2.Turmeric powder -1/2 tsp
3.Grated coconut -1/2 cup
4.Red chilli powder - 2 tsp
5.Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
6.Green chillies - 3
7.Ginger - 1 piece
8.Curry leaves
10.Curd - 1 cup
11.Coconut oil - 1 tsp
12.Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
13.Fenugreek seeds - 1/2 tsp
14.Red chillies - 3 no

Preparation of avoli meen moru curry

1.Grind the coconut,cumin seeds,turmeric powder,chilli powder really well.

2.In an earthen pot take the grounded mixture,green chillies,ginger slices,curry leaves ,salt and water and bring it to boil.

3.To this add the fish pieces and cook the fish in the gravy.Now add the fresh curd to it do not allow it to boil.

4.In another pan heat the oil splutter the mustard chillies,fenugreek seeds,curry leaves and pour this to the curry.

Now the delicious fish curry is ready to be served.
