Vadakapuli Achar /Curry Naranga Achar

Ingredients

1.Curry Naranga - 1 no
2.Garlic - 10 cloves
3.Ginger - 1 medium piece
4.Green chillies - 5 no
5.Red chilli powder - 3 1/2 to 4 tsp
6.Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
7.Curry leaves
8.Asafotida /Hing/Kayam - 1/4 tsp
9.Salt
10.Gingerly oil (nallenna ) - 2 tsp

Preparation

1.Cut the curry Naranga in cubes.Heat the gingerly oil and splutter the mustard seeds.Now add the curry leaves and green chillies ,garlic and ginger to it.


2.Saute to it then add the naranga cubed to it.Add 1 cup of water to it and bring it to boil.Then add the chilly powder ,asafotida powder,salt to it.

3.Cook it for some more time till it becomes thicken.Keep it in air tight container.
