Ingredients needed to make Katti Parippu
1.Toor dal - 1/4 cup
2.Turmeric powder - 2 pinches
3.Dry red chilli - 1
4.Green chillies - 2
5.Salt
6.Ghee - 1 tsp
7.Garlic - 1 clove
8.Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
9.Cumin seeds - a pinch
10.Chopped shallots/Kunjulli - 3
11.Curry leaves
How to make katti parippu
1.Wash the toor dal really well and then add enough water ,salt ,turmeric powder,green chillies ,garlic,cumin seeds to it and pressure cook it really well.
2.When the dal is cooked well heat the ghee in a pan and splutter the mustard seeds,curry leaves and red chilli and pour this this to the katti parippu.....
