Kada fry (Quail Fry) - Kerala style

Quail is a small sized bird ,small as a little chick.Recently i started to raise quails and thus i was in search of delicacies of quails.So today i am going to prepare the quail fry or kada fry with my own backyard quails. My servant helped me in clean the quails.


1.Quail - 4
2.Red chilli powder - 2 1/2 tsp
3.Turmeric powder -1/2 tsp
4.Pepper powder - 1 1/2 tsp
5.Garam masala powder - 1 1/2 tsp
6.Ginger - 1 1/2 tsp
7.Garlic - 1 1/2 tsp
9.Oil needed to fry


1.Clean the quail and with a fork prick it .

2.Then make a paste with whole of the powders and with ginger and garlic paste.

3.Marinate the quail with the paste and keep it for 1 to 2 hours.

4.Then deep fry the quail and serve it hot
