Palak Paneer


Ingredients

1.Paneer - 1 cup/200 gm
2.Palak/Spinach - 2 bunch
3.Kasoori methi leaves powder - 1 /2 tsp
4.Cumin seed - 1/2 tsp
5.Tomato chopped - 1 no
6.Onion
7.Green chillies - 3/4
8.Ginger and garlic paste
9.Salt
10.Oil
11.Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
12.Coriander powder -1 tsp
13.Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
14.Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp


Preparation

1.Add the spinach to hot water for 2 minutes and make sure not to cover it.And take it out and grind it in mixi with green chillies.

2.Heat the oil in a pan and fry the paneer cubes well and keep it aside.

3.In the same oil add the cumin seed and then saute the onions and when it becomes transculent add the ginger,garlic paste then add the salt and turmeric powder to it then add the chopped tomato.

4.And cook it till the tomato becomes mashed up in to a fine paste.

5.Then add the red chilli powder,coriander powder,garam masala,kasoori methi powder , and the grinded spinach to the masala and cook it for some more time.

6.Then add the fried paneer to it and mix it well .Now enjoy the yummy palak paneer....
