Ingredients
1.Paneer or Cottage cheese - 500 gm
2.Cashew Nuts - 15 to 20
3.Onion chopped - 2 or 3
4.Coconut piece chopped - 1 inch piece
5.Chopped ginger - 1 tsp
6.Chopped garlic - 1 tsp
7.Poppy seeds or khuskhus - 1 tsp
8.Red chillies - 5 no
9.Coriander seeds - 1 tsp
10.Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
11.Cloves - 3
12.Cinnamon - 1 stick
13.Melon seeds - 2 tsp
14.Tomato puree - 1 cup
15.Fresh cream - 1/2 cup
16.Salt
17.Sugar - 1 tsp
18. Refined Oil
19.Coriander leaves chopped
Preparation
1.Now we will get the paneer in cube form so don't bother about cutting the paneer.
2.Heat the oil in a pan and fry the paneer till it becomes golden brown in color.
3.Then drain out the paneer from the oil and then fry the cashew nuts in the same oil till it becomes golden in color.
4.In another pan dry roast the poppy seeds ,cumin seeds ,coriander seeds ,cinnamon ,cloves ,red chillies and melon .
5.Then grind this along with the onion,coconut,ginger ,garlic and coriander leaves.
6.Heat three tsp of oil in a pan and then add the grounded paste to it and fry it till it separate from the oil.Then add the tomato puree ,salt ,sugar and half cup of water to it and keep it in simmer for 15 mts.
7.When the gravy becomes thicken add the cottage cheese and fried cashew nuts to it.Cook it for another 2 mts and then add the fresh cream to it serve it with nan or chappathi.
